an old boat in the stormy oceanAuthor Steve Fitzhugh brings a challenge for pastors in his new book: Pastor, We Need A Bigger Boat!

Young people today are at great risk. Violence, rape, murder, theft, truancy, teen pregnancy … which of these sharks are threatening your youth? Do you even know? The youth program at a church should not be an “add-on” or something that is done as an afterthought. If, as a pastor, you are not investing wisely into proactively ensuring your youth are being shepherded well, then your church will suffer the consequences. It may not be today or next month, but at some point you will find that your lack of attention to the youth has brought weakness and destruction to your ministry.

There is hope. You can begin to make impactful, relevant changes TODAY! They can begin with purchasing this book. Pastor, We Need A Bigger Boat not only shows you the types of things you should be looking at in your youth program, it provides you focused questions to get you and your staff thinking rightly when it comes to ministering to your youth.

This book is ideal for pastors, deacons, or church leadership who have input into the type of youth program being conducted at a church.

Les Steckel, the president and CEO of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, said: “Steve Fitzhugh is one of our country’s top communicators to youth and parents. His years of experience, proven effectiveness, and related expertise more than qualifies him to speak to leaders on the issues concerning the youth. We count it a privilege to have him connected to our ministry. This book will be a valuable and impacting addition to the serious pastor’s library.”
